About the arrow necklace [x]

I think that may have been my little nod to Mr. Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye. I guess you could interpret it in different ways but we thought it would be nice to have something that was a little bit personal for the Widow. You kind of forget, because she’s such a badass, you kind of forget that she’s still a woman and that she has her interpersonal relationships in life outside of work.

Honestly it was a choice that Scarlett made as a character, and… her relationship with Hawkeye will become very clear in Avengers 2.

Marvel Is Doing “Development Work” For a Black Widow Movie. But What Does That Really Mean?

This is a good dose of reality to counter all those click-baity “Black Widow film in development!” headlines. It’s encouraging to me that Feige is still talking about this. It’s extra-sprinkles encouraging that he’s talking about it in terms of the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as a natural consequence of a large role in Avengers 2, and not just as a vague, placating response to demands for a Black Widow film, or the “When will we get a Marvel film about a superheroine?” question.

It’s not, however, Kevin Feige committing to a Black Widow movie. So if it matters to you, don’t stop demanding and don’t stop asking that question.
